Our collection of vintage treasures started when we built a cellar door and house from second hand materials in 1996. A few rustic cabinets and tables, with that rich, warm patina that only decades of wear and tear produces, were discovered whilst hunting for building materials, and they fitted into our upcycled cellar door and house perfectly. The Ikea furniture had to go and the appreciation and collection of all things vintage was born.  

The current collection for hire is a result of countless visits to salvage yards, op shops and garage sales searching for elusive treasures, hidden amongst the ordinary. The motivation to start hiring vintage treasures was due to advice from our neighbour, a wedding celebrant, who booked our venue for her baby’s naming ceremony a couple of years ago. After having a quick look around at the vintage décor she said, “Do you know that you have loads of vintage items that people want at their weddings but can’t get?”

Instead of buying and discarding shiny new stuff for your event, you can hire our vintage furniture and props, for a generous four day period, which means your event will not only ooze style and charm, it will also tread lightly on the earth.
